he might not know how to tell his parents because they might not believe him because Mr. Srawbridge was so polite to Mrs. MacCauley and her family. The only thing he can do is get home and call the police and explain to him about the plume hunters and apologize to Tommie for telling about the rookery. the plume hunters might find Tyler and kill him before he tells the police and his parents will call the police.
ReplyDeleteHe might not no what to tell his parents if they don't believe him.If they don't it will be because he was so nice to them.He can only get home and call the police and they might not get there before the plume hunters kill him.
ReplyDeleteA thoughtful response, Lillie, but how will he even get home? Also, it's 1906 in a very remote part of Florida -- do you think that Tyler's family has a telephone? Based on what you read in this chapter, do you really think that home is where he's headed?
ReplyDeleteJustin, it's too bad that you chose not to think of your own response and instead copy Lillie's thoughts. That is very disappointing and discouraging to me. How can you be proud of that?
ReplyDeleteI think he will find his parents but get captured and then exscape. I think he will find his way home and call the police. i think he will face more plume hunters, and an alligator.
