Chapter Two
Why does Pa believe it's important for the family to stay in the Ten Thousand Islands area? Why does he feel this way? Be thorough and specific in your explanation.
I think Pa believed they should stay in the ten thousand needles so the law doesn't arrest them for something that he did a long time ago. he also thinks that Brewer is a cop, trying to ketch them. He doesn't want to do it because it is illegal to ship and sell plume to the north and he is worried about his family.
i think pa wanted to stay with his family and not get caught by the government and go to jail for a crime he didn't do. He also wants to stay at lostman's river were some people know were he lives but not the government. He also doesn't want to kill and ship plums and gator skins and people wont hire him because the might think he has a reputation.
