Chapter Eleven

In the early part of this chapter, why do you think Tyler made himself "stand there and take it all in..." at the rookery, "... as the buzzards came flopping in and began ripping at the bodies"?  And why do you think he "... was drawn to the rookery once again" the next day.

  1. I think he was drawn to the rookery once again the next day was because he could not bare to leave all those dead birds in the rookery to poison the water.

  2. I think he was drawn to the rookery because sometimes when you do something like that you need to stop and think about what you did and why you did it because sometimes you make a stupid decision that can change you life forever.

  3. But Jared, Tyler did not do anything with the dead birds. Please defend your statement with evidence from the text.
