Chapter Eight
Please explain in detail how Mr. Strawbridge explains his mission to Tyler. In other words, what does he tell Tyler about his plan and why he is doing it?
he is killing birds to send them to London or Paris because he thinks when that land becomes farm land and those birds become extinct nobody will know those birds existed so he is sending them to the Smithsonian to be stuffed. he is doing all this for the money because of the cost for the expedition like the boat, the camera, the colored pens, and to pay Ty.
He is helping scientists by killing rare birds that are going exstinked to record them before they all die. He is doing this to get money for his personal needs and to pay Tyler his three dollars a day.
