Chapter Fifteen
Why do you think Pa made the choice that he did? What do you think was the tipping point for him to make that decision? Explain your thoughts as clearly and thoroughly as possible.
I think he did that because he didn't want to take the risk of dieing well Carrie was young and Tyler to think about the choice he made and could have gone to jail instead.
I don't disagree with anything written here, but I do think there was more to it than this. Please revisit this chapter and see if you can find any more supporting evidence.
I think pa made the choice of going back to New York because I think he doesn't want to run away from the law anymore.

ReplyDeleteAlso, he wouldn't have had to run from the law if he stayed and took the warden's position, would he?
ReplyDeleteno, he wouldn't have but mabey Sheriff Sweeney will break his promise and tell the cops at New York that he's there.
